QuickStart Package Pricing Information
All prices quoted are exclusive of GST.
The QuickStart Package from Xtra can get you started from only $131.18 (depending on options chosen).
Startup Costs
| Internet Connection: |
Connection to Xtra is a one off payment of $22.18 and then the hourly rate or pricing plan you choose to use each month (see pricing plans below). |
| Domain Name registration: |
Set-up fee payable to Xtra of $35.00 for setting up your Domain Name on the Xtra servers. Registration fee payable to Domainz of $74.00 (billed directly by Domainz). |
| Email Accounts: |
1 free mailbox with each dial-up account. Additional mailboxes cost $2.50 plus GST each per month (no set-up fee is incurred). |
| Optional |
| LiteWeb: |
$25.00 set-up fee. This is to host your domain name Web site: (e.g. www.yourcompanyname.co.nz) |
Ongoing Costs
Additional charges will be incurred and are payable on a usage or monthly basis. These include:

Pricing conditions:
¹Please note, the above pricing plans are quoted for dial-up connection to Xtra using our nationwide 087 30 30 30 number. The Advance Plans are also available to ISDN customers dialling 087 30 30 31. Click here for further details on advanced access capabilities.
2. Domain Name fees:
In addition to the registration fees, the following fees also apply (all prices are excl. GST): |
| Xtra monthly fee: |
$7.00 administrative fee, paid in advance each month. |
| Domainz annual renewal fee: |
$44.00 Domainz fee for each year thereafter to renew the registration of your Domain Name (billed directly by Domainz). |
| 3. Additional Email Mailboxes: |
$2.50 per additional mailbox per month. Each additional mailbox has its own login ID and password and includes up to 5 email addresses. |
| Email Services: |
Email services provided by Xtra are currently FREE. These services include Mail forwarding, Mail Aliases, Mail Wild Carding and Auto Responders. |
| 4. Web hosting fees: |
An extensive range of options from $25.00 per month is available to suit your budget and business requirements. |

- Part hours of connection will be charged per second
- Billing is monthly and will be included on your nominated Telecom phone account
- These services may not be available in some areas
- These services are subject to the "Telecom Xtra Business Services Terms and Conditions" which can be viewed here.
- Domain Registration and operation fees are additional and will be billed directly by Domainz (The New Zealand Internet Registry Ltd.)
- The Domainz Terms of Service (including charges and payment details) are in the Domainz Reference Library and Domainz pricing is subject to change
- Telecom local call charges may also apply and will appear as a separate charge on your nominated Telecom account
